This web site is an invitation to the world of Kimberly Sau Wai Miller, the performer and the artist.

My art is a modern interpretation of ancient Chinese Brush Painting, full of vibrant color and infused with meaning. My method involves the traditional watercolor and rice paper technique that began in China over six thousand years ago, while drawing modern inspiration from my own life experiences in music and art, eastern and western symbolism and the natural concepts of Yin & Yang and Feng Shui. I choose each subject matter carefully. Through my use of authentic Chinese bamboo paintbrushes, watercolor, Chinese black ink and handmade rice paper, my images merge together to give viewers a gift of purpose and beauty. My originals are stamped with my own authentic artist chop and are sold matted and framed. I completed my "5 Elements Dragon Series" for the Coos Bay Art Museum in Oregon in 2000. This series is and remains a powerful symbol of inspiration for people of all ages. My dragons continue to evolve and emerge as timeless creations. Another example of my work, "Taking Flight", represents the rising of enlightenment with purity of water, the beauty of the lotus, the good fortune of the koi fish, and the rebirth of the dragonfly.
