About Kimberly Sau Wai Miller

Kimberly Sau Wai MillerKimberly is a multi-disciplinary artist who graduated with a degree in Vocal Performance from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She now resides in Oakland where she equally pursues both her careers in art and music. Check out her Calendar to find out where she will be in the near future!

She is especially open to private commissions and loves to collaborate in the process of getting an idea or story out in the form of art. Recently completed projects include "Metal Dragon and Phoenix", "A Night Scene in Tokyo", and "The Imperial Dragon". She also loves to answer questions about Chinese symbolism, Feng Shui and the IChing. Please feel free to contact her with all your ideas and questions!

Kimberly Sau Wai Miller is a performing artist as well as a visual artist. While performing soprano roles in opera and classical music, Kimberly's performance practices also explore the convergence of live singing and modern dance. She is currently involved in several projects including OPERADANCE CO (creation and performance of original works combining opera and dance with choreographer Jeanne Disney), The Albany Consort, DeepRootDance Collective, Kitty Katze Kabarret & Delamuse. She received her BA from Mills College in Vocal Performance and studies with Bay Area soprano, Susan Gundunas. Presently, Kimberly teaches voice and piano from her private studio in Oakland.
